Who we are

InSyncer is built by CyberWorkshop Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. Our office is in Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand.

What data we collect

Website visitors

This website uses cookies and similar technologies so we can understand how the site is used and so we can follow up on enquiries:

  • Google Analytics 4 records page views, traffic sources, and basic device information. It sets analytics cookies.
  • HubSpot records page views, sets a visitor cookie (hubspotutk), and ties form submissions to that session so we know which pages someone viewed before they contacted us.

These tools may process data on servers outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We do not use advertising pixels or sell visitor data.

Contact and waitlist forms

When you submit a form we collect the information you provide: name, email, company, phone, ERP system, integration type, and your message. We send that to our inbox via SendGrid and, when configured, into HubSpot so the sales team can reply.

InSyncer app users

The InSyncer Shopify app accesses data from your Shopify store and your MYOB or Acumatica system as required to perform the sync functions you have configured. This includes product, pricing, inventory, customer, and order data. That data is processed for synchronisation between your systems and is not used for marketing.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries
  • Provide and maintain the InSyncer integration service
  • Communicate with you about your InSyncer integration
  • Understand how the website is used so we can improve it

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing.

Processors we use

  • Google (Analytics)
  • HubSpot (website tracking and CRM forms)
  • SendGrid (transactional email for form notifications)
  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Shopify (app billing and store data, for app customers)

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as we need them to reply and keep a record of the conversation. Analytics data is retained according to the default settings of those tools. Integration data processed by InSyncer is retained as required to keep the sync running and is removed when the service is discontinued.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at info@insyncer.com. You can also use browser controls to block analytics cookies; the site will still work.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
